Sleek MakeUp Stiletto Collection - Photo , Swatches & Review

I know i am quite late but they say its better late than never. I was expecting to get the Sleek Makeup Stiletto collection stuff a week ago but well my mail came yesterday. So I didn't want to waste another day , here i am with my take on Sleek Makeup Blush in Scandalous $6.50  & Sleek MakeUP Pout Polish - Scandal $6.50

Sleek MakeUP had released this a limited edition mini-collection, just in time for Valentine's Day. The Stiletto Collection had three brand new red hot product.

• Scandalous Blush £4.29,

The products in the Stiletto Collection are limited edition and i have read on many british blogs that sleek makeup products sell like hot cakes .

I got my two most favorite items from this collection. Sleek Makeup Blush in Scandalous $6.50  & Sleek MakeUP Pout Polish - Scandal. The reason why i wanted to get the  Blush in Scandalous was that i own Nars Exhibit A and i wanted to do a side by side swatches of these two blushes to see if it only look reminiscent of the Nars one. 

The Scandalous blush is highly pigmented, silky and applies smooth and it also blends well. The blush is matte, its a beautiful red with orange undertones.You can see the orange undertone quite easily in the below photograph which is taken with the camera flash.

The key of applying this blush is to keep it light handed.I used my sigma F50  which is a duo fiber brush . I just tap it lightly on the brush , tap of the access and blend it on the apple of my cheeks. It gives such a beautiful flushed look .I am always intrigued by such amusing blush shades, i would rather buy Scandalous blush, Exhibit A , Taj mahal , rather than buying soft dull boring natural blushes.

If you are a regular reader of Glossicious, you would know that i am right now obsessed with red lips. And when i saw Sleek MakeUP Pout Polish - Scandal, i knew i will love it.

Scandal is such a beautiful cherry red colour. All Sleek makeup tinted lip conditioning balm formulated with natural oils such as Almond Oil, Shea Butter, Avocado Extract and Vitamin A, C and E to help condition the lips and lock in moisture. 

It also includes SPF15 to help protect the lips from sun exposure.
Using a lip brush or fingers, apply a small amount to the upper and lower lips for a sheer wash of colour and It gives a pretty ,sexy red pout . Its pigmented enough to use it by itself , or top or under any lipstick,it will rock any look. One thing i am sure it will look hot , when i  will pair it with my Illasmaqua Maneater lipstick, which is a matt. Its glossy and product itself is a non stickyand smells like coconut.

I love buying lipsticks and swatching them back on my hand when i have nothing to do. I love me some lipstick when i am feeling blue. I was going through my stash of lipsticks , getting rid of some old ones yesterday ,making space for new ones, and this is when i realized i haven't posted anything about E.l.f. Overall I am impressed with the elf mineral lipsticks, they are creamy and glossy the texture and finish of the product is also great.

So Do you Like Nude/Neutral Lipsticks !?

Nude lipstick is as strong a statement as red lips. I love both. But honestly i am not into nude lips as much i was last year, Nude lips was one of the biggest makeup trends for Spring 2010. If your looking for a good, cheap, nude lipstick. Look no further. For a change i am posting about something which actually available in Pakistan.HOOORAY !!!

I bought Etude aqua rouge BE810, I got it from Alfatah for rs approx 250-350( cant remeber exact price) . There was a time when etude products were such a rage in Pakistan . I am sure they still are but i dont see much of their products these days maybe Rimmel , maybelline ,L'oreal Paris has taken over ,Thanks to Media.

I personally love etude aqua rouge lipsticks , they are affordable and they have such huge varierty of shades, reds,pinks, browns, beiges. And they mention the shade range by putting BR,BE,RD,etc before the shade number. 

 
I would say that  is pigmented pinky beige nude shade.Its a pale pinkish nude lipstick .If you dont want a nude lipstick like myth , which is , fleshy beige shade then this is a perfect shade.

I usually pair it with a bit of smoky eyes, if i am not wearing any eyeshadows, i smoke out my kajal on the lower lashline and i am good to go. This is a great color to pair with more pigmented, brighter pink lipglosses if you want it give it a glossy finish. I usually apply my Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer in Mica which has pale pink base with purple and pink sparkles
