Illamasqua Q collection Powder Blush SOPHIE - Review , Photos & Swatch

Overall opinion -  Illamasqua blushes have always been a solid favorites of me. In my opinion they can compared to quality of Nars blushes if not better. Illamasqua  Powder Blush SOPHIE is a Coral pink blush with visible golden glitter . Once on cheeks the golden specs are still visible but the glitter fades away after couple of hour wear . The texture of powder blush Sophie lacks the smoothness which most of my Illamasqua blushes have, but this one still blends beautifully. It looks beautiful on my nc 30-35 , since it has sheen to which gives me a glow. So i think i dont need a highlighter when i am wearing Illamasqua SOPHIE. I  just swirl my blush brush lightly around in the pan and then tap off the excess,and apply it on my  mostly apples of my cheeks and blend away. I think it will complement majority of skintones because its a coral with a bit of pink to it.  Since it has a bulidable , you can wear it lightly or heavy handed depending upon your mood .

Do i recommend :  Yes , If want a beautiful shimmery coral blush with a soft and pigmented formula  .

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow Barely Beige - Review

Maybelline  launched limited edition Color Tattoo shades for their Fall 2012 "Scene on the Runway" collection along with eyeshadow palettes, nail polishes . The Fall 2012 "Scene on the Runway" collection features four new Color Tattoo shades shades, including a light shimmery nude which i was really interested in to , and finally few days ago i picked up some of the items from the collection.

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow Barely Beige - is a beige/champagne shimmer.

Overall opinion - I have heard so much about the Maybelline color tattos , and wanted to try them since the day they were launched.I hardly wear eye makeup other than mascara and eyeliner , but when i saw the new shades of color tattoo , i knew i had to have ateast one. I wore the barely beige few time in last couple of days. The texture is amazing , its creamy , pigmented and apply smoothly with fingers or flat brush. My prefer method is to apply it all over lid with fingers and buff the edges with a blending brush. Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow Barely Beige is one of thise neutral shades which look gorgeous on its own on the lids or used as a base with othese shades. They last pretty long , i have combination skin and my lids tend to get oily end of the day and it lasted me good hours, although i dont know about the 24 hour claim, since i dont wear makeup this long. If you wanted to try MAC Paint Pots OR the Benefit Crease less Cream Shadows but price kept you away,Maybelline Color Tattoos are exceptionally great alternative .

My Labor Day Weekend Haul - Bath & Body Works & Forever 21

Yesterday i went to look around and just have browse Opry mill mall ,Nashville during the labor day sale. I am not sure how many hours it takes to browse the mall, since it huge and i wont mind spending whole day there but i had an hour or so as Mr.G was with me and he hates shopping. So i knew i had to stop at forever21 and trust me its HUGE, its so big that an hour could be spend there alone. I just made a quick stop at the jewellery section and got myself few things.  

Okay so as soon as i saw these earrings , they reminded me of Henri Bendel earrings , so i had to picke these up and i loved the navy color.

Next i just picked up some more earrings and a beautiful really long necklace . But i was really looking for this bracelet  and this one is i really wanted to0 ,  but i didn't see them in store.

 While i was at the check out , a nail polish grabbed my eyes, here summer is almost over but i was looking for a decent mint nail polish so i got forever21 brand Mint Nail Polish.

I had a $10 off $30 survey coupon from Bath & Body works. I love candles and BBW has this 2 foe $20 candles , so i went there and got the two candles , Okay let me tell you here that i really really wanted the LEAVES candle for the longest time ever. I was so happy and excited when it got it . Also i loved how  cranberry woods smells.

I was at the check out and i saw this really adorable pink pairs key / pocket bac holder , I remember seeing it on some you tube video . It is so me . Also they had Aromatherapy Body Wash & Foam Bath for $ 5 , i bought the Stress Relief in Eucalyptus Spearmint. I love Eucalyptus fragrance with body care. I have so many lotions from my last  haul so i restricted myself from buying more ,until holiday collection come up. I only got Signature Collection Fine Fragrance Mist in Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin.

Old Navy was having an amazing 40% sale on everything , i bought 2 shirts and one tank top. I went to Lane bryant and bought a pair of jeans. But since i rarely post of clothing , i planned to skip . But i saved some $$ during the sale on clothing.

5 Favourite Blue Nail Polishes & one Regret

  
I am a blue/green/teal nail polish lover. I will always pick shades with fall into this color family . Sp below you will find my Five Summer Favourite Blue Nail polishes & one regret .
 

 You can see above that i have mix of glitter and cream formula. I will cover green/teal in another post. These 5 were my mostly used blue polishes this summer and i am in love with each one. If you ask me to pick one ,I will have to say China glaze Dorthy who and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Pacific Blue. wet n wild Fergie nail color Dutchess wasnt exactly dream to apply m infact i hated it when i first applied but i use it over my other blue polishes as glitter top coat. So the polishes shown are L-R

• wet n wild Fergie nail color Dutchess

Now some shades details

• China Glaze Dorothy Who? is a medium blue jelly base with blue and silver glitter.

• Wet n Wild Fergie nail color Dutchess is a blue glitter with slightly larger more sparse purple glitter.It was sheer and didnt look pretty on its own so i mostly use it as top coat

• Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Pacific Blue is  beautiful cornflower blue. This shade is little trciky to capture on camera but its an amazing shade. Its a creme formula.

• Sally hensnan Clypso Blue is a gorgeous turquoise-ocean kind of blue with very fine green shimmer running through it. Simply stunning shade .

and now time foe one regret , I was so impressed with the shade of this particularpolish

• Sinful colors Savage is a matte teal sort of shade

You may ask why i regret buying it ? I say i stained my  nail so bad, i mean it took them 10 days to recover and i was in shock , because my nails never looked so bad. I was hiding them all that time. I dont know if i got a dud , but seriously it was my first sinful colos polish and i was not impressed at all.
