Since i saw the Lakme Absolute commercials on tv featuring lovely Kareena kapoor , i knew i wanted few bits from this line. Before i left for india, i googled several reviews and made a list of top three products i wanted from lakme absolute line. Unfortunately i couldn't find Absolute kajal any where in Chandigarh so i had to get the matte lipstick.I started using the day blushes as soon as i got it .
First thing i like to mention is that it comes in a really light weight and travel friendly packaging . It comes in a round doomed shaped box with a transparent lid. The L logo on top gives a very classy touch.It doesnt come with a mirroe or a brush , which isn't a problem for me as i keep both in my makeup bag. The blush is a gorgeous mix of peach/pink and coral with fine shimmer. The texture is amazingly soft and smooth. It is not very pigmented , but it is buildable as it needs atleast 2-3 swipe to get good amount of color on to the cheeks. But if you are a begginer in makeup or a teenager who just started wearing makeup , it will suit you alot. The shimmer is not chunky and once blended , it gives a beautiful sheen.I usually don't wear makeup for longer hours but when i was in Chandigarh, India ,I used to apply makeup around 9 am and take it off 11pm.I was blown away by the staying power of this blush. It stayed on me all this time with very little fading away. When i first swatched the blush , it reminded me alot of Nars orgasam . But when i swatched few blushes which i thought were similar , it turned out to be quite a unique shade. Its not even close to Nars amour, which is a matte and much more pigmented and a totally different shade. Essence Babydoll is similar but lakame absolute day blushes is more pink.

Do i Recommend : A gorgeous blush, with smooth texture ,beautiful sheen and which lasts exceptionally long . If you can get your hands on this , i will highly recommend it. It will looks gorgeous on variety of skintones, But darker skintones might want to swatch it first before buying as it could look little ashy.
