Luscious Studio Secret Concealer-Review

I swear by, live by, won’t leave the house without Luscious Studio Secret Concealer now on.

Website says:
A patented breakthrough formulation that magically covers and brightens under-eye circles, erases blemishes, dark spots and imperfections to create a flawless complexion. Provides smooth, long-lasting, invisible coverage for an air-brushed finish.
Glossicious Says:

I have been searching for the perfect concealer for decades.  Well its not true, i was a concealer virgin until October 2009, when i officially started blogging , now i own like 6 concealers and i want to buy more as none of them satisfied my left side of face which is more sensitive, with some open pores, blemished and dry patches. The problem is that there is no single concealer that is perfect for everyone. Locating the correct concealer for your skin type and skin tone can be both frustrating and expensive, It takes years to find your soul mate.. i mean your HG Concealer :D
I have very  sensitive skin which is not getting better, and i get redness, blotchy spots, breakouts now and then.I am glad to report that it didn't irritate my skin and felt great on , it feels light on skin and doesn't suffocate it.
The texture is light and creamy and glides on smoothly. Its thick enough to not be cakey but it has more coverage than my other liquid concealer. At first, I thought the Golden Beige might be a bit too light but once my face was finished, it blended well.I find that this gives a quite even finish, covering my dark spots, redness and under eye area well, although not completely but whenever i looked in the mirror, I loved what i saw. My face looked fresh, almost flawless.
I don't have  bad dark circles, *touch wood*  but i loved how it conceals and brighten my eye area. Those with mild to moderate dark circles will probably find this is all they need.

Luscious Studio Secret Concealer comes in three shades according to their website. There is Light Beige, Medium Beige, and  Golden Beige.
On the negative side, the concealer currently comes in only three shades.Hopefully, the company will be adding more shades to their collection.

The Packaging

Packaged in a convenient brush-pen for a precise application. The easy-to-use pen applicator is great  and the brush tip allows me to use as much or as little concealer as I need.Although one has to be careful while twisting the base, sometimes more comes out ,and it goes wasted. Its small and sleek, would fit any bag, purse, clutch easily

For the quickest touch-up job ever, give this portable pen a click and twist, then use the brush tip to apply the lightweight concealer inside. It will give you bright, glowing and flawless face.Highly Recommended!

Fing'rs Artifical Nails-Review

I was sent Fing'rs nails a week ago to try out and review if I liked them. I tried them out for a couple of days and they are pretty cool.I fell in love with these nails when I first  saw a review on Ceecile Blog.
Fing'rs has two categories - the very girlie, ultra-feminine California Girl range and the more 'punk/emo' or alternative style Fing'rs Edge.
I received few from both,I will not doing them in one post, as they deserve separate post.
Today i am doing

The sets comes with:
*24 Nails
*Pink Gel Glue
*Cuticle stick
*Adhevsive stickers

The nails come in different sizes to fit all nail sizes easily, which is pretty considerate keeping in mind all nail sizes. You get an option to pick between glue and sticky tabs. Those sticky tabs are really adhesive. It was lost when i first placed the sticker, didn't know where to peel, then i realized after pressing it on nails, white sticker comes off ,leaving transparent adhesive.
These nails were very simple and easy to apply and I did it with no mess at all. The glue comes in a small tube so is easy to apply to the natural nail and then just simply press the artificial nail on top and hold there for 5-10 seconds to secure into place.
Te removes these nails soak them into their special nail remover until the nails dissolve or if you can't find any of this soak in acetone. Don't break or peel of nails as this can ruin your natural nails.

( how cute is the blue star?)
I definitely wear these for a special occasion, such as a , party or hangout with friends.I haven't worn fake nails in a long time,i was little hesitant and nervous when i was putting them on, but after doing few nails, i was feeling like a pro.:) I have short nails and it gave me perfectly natural look.

You can get them from

Visit fing'rs for more details and designs .

What do you think yay or nay?

Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation-Review

This new foundation from Bourjois leaves your skin looking toned, radiant and healthy skin with a flawless matte finish. Available in eight shades, ingredients include anti-dull complexion pigments and fruit-based active ingredients, including melon for moisturizing, apricot for radiance, ginger for tonicity and anti-oxidant apple. The foundation is oil free, promises to hydrate ,it  provides a semi-matte finish and up to 16 hrs coverage.
As requested, here is the full review of the new Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation which i got last week when my cousin send me few makeup from UK as bourjois isn't available in Pakistan(BOO!) , even though i originally asked her to buy Revlon photo ready but that was not in shops yet even though its on the boots website.
My skin is pretty dry and i have few dry patches, dark spots esp on right  left cheek, in photograph below , I tested it by applying on my problematic left side.It is medium coverage which is enough for me as i but not so great for very blemished or scarred skin. It is Good if you're looking for natural coverage. It blends easily,Only two small pumps provide plenty to do my face, neck and ehm decolletage.and  Yes! the foundation has a pump which is of  good quality and its very easy to apply.

It has a semi-matte dewy finish.I have a bit of an oily T zone and i live in Pakistan , and it gets really ,REALLY hot and sweaty in summer so my T zone get oily so prefer setting  it with some powder but those with normal skin looking for a gorgeous radiant finish ,this is the right product for you.It makes skin feel radiant ,supple and soft but it has tendency to get a bit shiny/oily on combination and/or oily skin.

(WHY SO SERIOUS?!!LOL
did you see how my spot/pores are less visible(not completely gone-Hence medium coverage it is. )

It smells gorgeous, it has a lovely fruity scent, It has a fresh apple/apricoty/melon type scent. I loved it

Have you tried this foundation? What is your experinece ?

ELF Studio Cream Eyeliner in Black-Review

Website says:
Creates smooth lines that are defined and precise. Smudge-proof, budge-proof and water-resistant coverage for all day wear to combat against, sweat, tears and rain!
I got this in black from makeupmixshop for $3 and am now really tempted to get it in other colours as well. There are currently 4 shades in the line up: Coffee (medium brown), Black, Midnight (dark blue) and Ivory (off white )

(ELF Uk facebook fan page photo)

I love cream/gel liners. I already have Coastal scents gel liner and POP hotpot gel liner (both in black). My first time using it I found it to be creamy indeed. It applied like a dream! (I used my angled brush)
The packaging is also great, an easy screw top jar, very simple and practical. My first thoughts  on packaging were its a mini version of ELF HD powder. CUTE
I feel like this is totally different from my pther gel liners perhaps thats why its called cream liner. Its creamy soft. Its not very pigmented ,so i make sure to use right brush for this cream liner, as soft brush wont pick up t he right amount ,Use an angled , or thicker eye liner  brush, as they grab more color. It's very easy to make winged eye liner, it just glides on the eye, i had absolute fun using it. I let it dry or set in for few minutes.
The Liner stays on all day although the color fades a tiny bit.

The amount they also give is fairly enough considering I don’t use it every day, but with this liner a little goes a long way, don't forget to keep it upside down so it doesn't dry out quickly.

I recommend this to those who doesn't want to spend the money on expensive cream eyeliners but try want the same quality. For the price , and quality I will definitely be repurchasing but i different shades most probably Ivory!

Which one of ELF Studio Cream Eyeliner shade is your favorite? Have you trued any already? what are your thoughts?
