 I read somewhere that you can leave this on your face after cleanisning , which kinda triggered my interest about the ingredients.Milk proteins 3-in-1 cleanser combines 100% natural emulsifiers with vegetable oils to gently yet effectively remove waterproof make-up, sebum, impurities and dirt while imparting hydration, leaving skin smooth and silky.
• Milk proteins are rich in lactose and essential amino acids, nourishing the skin and forming a hydration shield by bonding with water molecules.

Korres Milk Proteins 3 in 1 Cleansing Emulsion is not the foamy type of cleanser.Its milky , and very light in texture which doesn't feel greasy and heavy.You can leave it on, wipe it off, or rinse.I love using Korres Milk Proteins 3 in 1 Cleansing Emulsion  because i can use it for removing my eye makeup , i hate using separate eye makeup remover when i am tired.This product was so gentle on my skin, never irritated my sensitive skin.The consistency is so light and also smell is quite light , almost smells like a baby lotion.

I would say its an excellent value of money,it comes in a such big sized bottle.

Over all A gentle, non-irritating cleanser that did not dry out my sensitive combination skin.

Mini Nail Polish Haul

 When i was in lahore, i did a very little shopping .I bought 4 nail polishes and few skincare products(post coming soon)
I bought 3 clarity nail polises, two were in same shade which is beautiful cramy beighy shade in 311. ( Photos and Review here )

 I never bought any medora nail polishes, never liked them. But i  was surprised to see some really beautfiul pretty glitter shades this time .
I bought shade number 354. Its a beautiful brown with lovely pink glitter in it.

I bought another clarity nail color. Its in shade 341. No names, just numbers.

Its a copper golden shade with fine golden shimmer in it.

Unlike medora it has shimmers not glitter.

So thats my mini nail polish haul. I have a skincare haul next but i am so lazy in taking pictures.Gah!

NOTD , Review ,photos of Beigey, brownish hue, taupe nail polish

If you remember and read my previous post on Beigey, brownish hue, taupe nail polishes and how i was sooo happy because i think, i think i have found a similar shade to satisfy my urge of Beige-y, brownish hue, taupe nail polish.

I present you Clarity Nail Polish in shade 313

Okay seriously I adore this color!  The neutral purply-gray shade is so trendy and really flattering on just about all skin tones.

The formula is better and great. I can say that formula is really different to my other clarity nail polishes. I wanna say that it has a creme finish, it doesn't have any shimmer,glitter.

One thing worth mentioning is that this applies well and dries quickly, i had to apply 3-4 coats to get this kind of opaque finish, but it dried quickly otherwise i wouldn't have bought a backup.

 I was happy with the formula and color payoff that i went next day and bought a back up of same shade and i am glad i did because it was the last piece there.

This polish is a great price too, I bought it for Rs 90/- from Color Collection, DHA  I still cant compared to a similar shades I’ve seen online.

Beigey, brownish hue, taupe nail polishes

 After the release of Chanel's “Particuliere”, a beigey, brownish hue, taupe nail polish became THE color to wear. Now all the other cosmetics companies are jumping on the trend bandwagon – I’ve seen this mushroom taupe color everywhere

My fascination started with OPI by sephora's metrochic which ofcourse isnt available in Pakistan. Its a opaque dark smoke with a hint of purple

I made an order from drugstore.com last month ,which included Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Commander in Chic"Its a beautful combo of a grey/beige/purple
 

next on my list is Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro Nail Enamel Steel Gray

 I really wanted a more grey/purple taupe than a brown based one Grey-with-purple-in-it? Not taupe. Sadly i live in a very small town with limited access to makeup. So when i went to Lahore for few days, i saw a nail polish which wasn't perfect but can satisfy my urge of Taupe, Grey and Brown nail polish.

I usually shop at alfatah but when it comes to buying nail polishes, i visit Color collection DHA Lahore. 

I was looking at Clarity new nail polish collection/shades when i got a glimpse of "The Neutrogena Wave".

The Neutrogena Wave is a vibrating facial cleanser that will help exfoliate and open clogged pores on dead skin or oily skin.

I was really really excited as i am right now into skincare products big time.

I didn't get it because my sister wanted to leave , i had plans to go back next day and get it But i got so busy that i didn't get time to go back. :(

Fake Cosmetics? Dare to Use?

Why are counterfeit cosmetics and beauty products so dangerous?

v  Fake cosmetics are made cheaply with no regard for safety standards put forth by the health and beauty industries.

v  Fake cosmetics & perfumes contain illegal substances [e.g. urine and antifreeze] that can cause serious allergic reactions.

v  Counterfeit hair straightening devices and other electronics have been known to malfunction and even explode.

How to spot fake cosmetics:

v  Look for flimsy packaging. If the cellophane is messy or moving around the box, that's a sure sign the perfume's probably a fake.
v  Watch for excess glue or adhesive tape. If there is a lot of tape or glue inside the perfume box or on the exterior of the packaging, the perfume is probably a fraud.
v  Examine barcodes. Barcodes should be at the bottom of the perfume box. If you see that they are the side of the box, you should definitely be suspicious.
v  Be wary of flea markets, home shopping parties, street vendors and unauthorized websites. Many sell fake or counterfeit products.
v  Watch the salesman. Most of the time the real product is in the front line on the shelf, while the fakes ones are behind it.
v  When online, buy from authentic websites. If there are spelling/grammar mistakes, unprofessional looking designs or a contact form without a legitimate address and phone number, proceed with caution.

Deal Alert -Nars lipgloss duos for $10 at Sephora.com

i was browsing sephora as usual and i discovered another amazing Nars $10 deal.

Sephora had 4 different NARS Lip Gloss/ Lip Stain Duo , and one NARS Duo Lip Gloss    for $1o each, Crazy right? because they normally cost $32.

 I had seen few youtube videos where gurus talked about Nars $1o duo glosses but they weren't available on sephora.com until i discovered them yesterday.I was waiting for my BI Christmas gift card which will be $15 off any $4o sephora order but i had to order as soon as i saw these because they sell out quickly.

I chose 3 out of 4 , the ones i ordered are Sayonara and Turkish Delight , Moon Fleet/ Indian Red and Kisses/ Pampa . and ofcourse i had to ordered Nars lip gloss duo in Orgasm/ Hustler.

I might order Sandpiper/ Daredevil in a week or so if it will still be in stock by then.

Whew… life has been so busy lately

I don't know where to start this Post ! My life has been so busy.

We're all really busy these days with few weddings coming up next few weeks, which are taking place out of city so we will be traveling a lot.

I have my own wedding (ruksati) to plan in spring 2011, that would be in i guess April or may.

I am finding it hard to take out time for commenting ,reviews, photos and blog with every passing day .To be honest i dont think i have left enough energy for that. I am glad that i have a loving family and husband to support me with my blogging :) 

I will tell you how in a month's time :)

I have been gone crazy by ordering so many thing last week, so i need to stop it .

My list is a work in process so if there is something you would like to see  or want me to review please let me know. I will try to blog as much as i can , rest assured i will be reading ally my favorite blog from my mobile Google reader

Its not like that i wont be blogging BUT it wont be as regular as it used to be. I will be posting as much i can. :)

Eid-E-Ghadir Mubarik -18th Zilhajj

I dont know if i have any shia readers but i always do a post about eids, new years and anything and everything so this is the time when  I wish heartedly congrats to all momineen and mominaat on this blissful occasion.  

The 18th of Dhul-hijjah is a very important day in the calendar of the followers of the Ahlul-Bayt, (A.S.).

If you want to know what is eid Ghadder, read below

On 18th Zilhijjah of the year 10 A.H. (10 March 632 CE) ,after completing the last pilgrimage ,the Holy Prophet(pbuh) along with around 100,000 Muslims reached a place called 'Ghadir-e-khumm' near Mecca. The following verse was revealed :Quran 5:67] O Messenger! deliver what bas been revealed to you from your Lord; and if you do it not, then you have not delivered His message, and Allah will protect you from the people; surely Allah will not guide the unbelieving people.

On receiving the above verse, the Holy Prophet stopped at that very place & delivered a speech an extract of which is :-[....It seems the time has approached when I shall be called away (by Allah) and I shall answer that call. I am leaving for you two precious things and if you adhere to them both, you will never go astray after me. They are the Book of Allah and my Progeny, that is my Ahlul Bayt. The two shall never separate from each other until they come to me by the Pool (of Paradise)."
