If you follow my blog , You would know that I am a HUGE pink/mauve blush fan. I am naturally drawn to anything in general and honest when I saw the glimpse of Instain Blush In Houndstooth, I knew I had to have it.

The Balm Instain Blush In Houndstooth described as a “mauve.” It’s a medium-dark pink-mauve with a satin finish .It has a matte finish with an incredibly creamy powder texture which makes application so easy. It is really easy to blend. The formula is really pigmented, so I will suggest applying it with light hand, I use my RT blush brush, tab the excess and reapply if required. I love blushes with some good staying power and this baby doesn’t disappoint.  I applied in the afternoon and I came back home around 9 pm and I could still see it intact.They last and stay vibrant all day on my oily skin without retouching.

Pros :

• Pigmented and Soft texture .
• Beautiful shade ,which will suit medium skintone.
• Packaging is uber cute and easy to carry around and travel with.
• Staying power is very impressive
• Fades evenly
• No shimmers in the blush . A beautiful satin finish

Cons :

• tendency to go overboard with the colour if not applied carefully
• Bit  pricey
• They are not easily available in Pakistan

OVERALL : It is a beautiful blush, I would say perfect for days , when you want minimal makeup but want a nice pop of color on your cheeks. It’s a  a soft and subtle colour, and will go with  almost any look you create .

L'Oreal Pure Reds Lipstick in Eva & Freida - Applied 

Eva Lonoria's shade is a beautiful brick red . Its kind of shade I normally don't wear and it looked pretty "eh" in the tube BUT boy O boy it looks so much stunning on lips. Its kind of shade which instantly perks up your whole look. L'oreal pure red in Eva is very Marsala-ish and its is very flattering and staying power is 5-6 hours on me.

Freida Pinto's is a Fushica Red, the shade screams Fun to me.  The formula is not opaque and as much matte as Evan and there is slight sheen. Of course you pat lips with a tissue that'll give a matte finish. This is kind of shade which brightens up the whole face. The staying power is 3-4 hours.

The lipsticks come in classic matte black packaging with the touch of gold. The texture of both lipstick is creamy , soft although these are matte but didn't notice any tugging or pulling .They feel very light weight and comfortable on the lips . I didn't notice any setteling into fine line or drying out lips like some other matte lipsticks.  Overall I am loving these and I see myself wearing these shades over and over again . If there is one thing which holds me back from buying more shades is price range . These babies cost PKR 1800.
