OPI Meet Me on the Star Ferry - NOTD

OPI Meet Me on the Star Ferry nail lacquer is part of from the Hong Kong Collection. I spotted this unusual shade at Alfatah DHA,Lahore few months ago . I have nothing like this shade in my collection. When i saw it in the store lightening ,It is a plummy pink shade with micro golden shimmer. But when I came home and swatched, I was surprised to see the multi-color micro shimmer in direct sunlight. It turned out more of rose gold and reminded me of ORLY rose radiance but less metallic and more shimmery . It needs at least 3 coats to get the opaque finish and drying time is quick. I have to say OPI polishes have the best brush-Period. The shade of OPI Meet Me On The Star Ferry might be  more appropriate for fall or winters for some, but I don’t restrict myself with seasonal shades. I will wear any color or shade anytime during the year.

One problem I have with OPI nail lacquers – why you so expensive OPI?? Rs 850 for single bottle.  But they are worth every penny. I mean what not to love ? The brush, the formula and the quick drying time

The Body Shop White Musk Eau De Toilette - is one of the Body Shop’s best-selling fragrance.It is a comfortable and velvety female fragrance. It opens with notes of ylang-ylang, galbanum and basil, followed by the heart of jasmine, rose, musk and lily,and settling at the base dominated by musk along with jasmine, rose, iris, amber, patchouli, vetiver, peach, oakmoss and vanilla.

Essence Gel Eyeliner Midnight In Paris :  It comes with a great price, stays on a long time, pigmented, smooth.One plus point is that it hasn't dried out yet even after a year of using like other gel liners. I have been using it in different ways , even on waterline and on lower lashline. I have oily lids but it last almost 10-12 hours on me . It does  fade away a little but nothing major. [Review here]

Stila Lip Glaze in Merry Merry - was a part of Stila Holiday Lipglaze Gift Set 2010. It is a reddish orange (almost hot coral) with red and gold shimmer .Once applied on to the lips , it sheers out and shows more of pinkish coral with subtle sparkles . It is a perfect summer lipgloss esp when you dont feel like wearing a lot of makeup . Its very easy & convenient to carry in your makeup bag because of its twist-pen design and brush applicator. It gives lips incredible shine .
