Caribbean Inspired eye makeup - Curacao I-Divine Palette

I was yet again playing with my Sleek Makeup palettes , and i wanted to do a Tropical Caribbean Inspired eye makeup. 

I am practicing my eye makeup and esp blending skills since i got my sleek makeup palettes because they are dream to work with. Today i did is really colorful look with my Sleek Makeup Curacao I-Divine Palette   .

I am using  Curacao I-Divine Palette in this look.

Used NYX milk jumbo eye pencil as base all over lid . 

The shades used were Teuqila sunrise , Bloody Mary ,Screw Driver , Green Iguana and espresso martini 

I lined with Maybelline eye studio lasting gel eyeliner also used on waterline

This is my try on smokey eye makeup using  Sleek Makeup Curacao I-Divine Palette   . . I seriously have been enjoying using all my sleek makeup palettes, so far i own 6 of them . If you are a beginner and want a palette , which has pigmented buttery eyeshadow and which blend effortlessly , i will highly  recommend Sleek Makeup I-Divine Palettes. I am in love with the shade Celebrate, wrapped up , organza and gift basket. The Mail can be a wonderful transition color . Wrapped up can be worn on the crease or on the outer V.  Over all the selection of these colors is stunning. I cant wait to create different looks with them.

The sleek makeup I divine eyeshadow palette comes in black compact. The compact is small and sturdy . It comes with a high quality big mirror , Perfect to bring with you on holiday or travel. I might not be able to take this beautiful palette on my holidays , because as you can see, the eyeshadow in bow came completely shattered and some few have slight crack so i will have to take care of it .

The Haul - June 2011

I usually save money for a month or so and spend like a maniac when i travel to Lahore. This time wasnt an exception too. Feast your eyes.

First Few Mac stuff. I bought

• Mac studio Fix fluid foundation in NC30 [ Rs 3695 ]
• MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Dolly Mix [ Rs 2595 ]
• Mac Hibiscus lipstick from Surf Baby ! Collection [ Rs2195 ]

These two were my first day purchases. I went to buy Mac foundation that day only. I bought Mac studio Fix fluid foundation in NC30 , i wanted the NC35 , but since it matched my skin tone. I didn't think twice. But o my second day i saw Mac prolong wear foundation ad i wish i had bought it instead . Maybe next time.

I saw Dollymix few years back and fell in love. But never bought it. This time when i was looking at MAC blushes and i asked sales ma to show a blush  which so pretty bright pink ( i was pointing at the blush), he got it and i was surprised to see it was MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Dolly Mix. It was God's sign of telling to buy it.

MAC Hibiscus lipstick - Photos , Review & Swatch

MAC Hibiscus lipstick was one of few items which i bought during my trips to Alafath last week.
Its a part of the  Limited edition Surf Baby Collection.MAC Surf Baby! Collection is a bright summery collection with island-themed packaging and colors.
It retails for rs 2100 because of the limited edition special packaging. Other regular line Mac lipsticks costs around rs 1990-200

If you are sucker for packaging then you will love this collection. The packaging of lipstick is uber pretty. It has stripes and pretty bright summery colors and a flower .

To be honest when i first the swatches on Temptalia, I loved it and I knew  I had to have this . But since it was LE product and we don't get LE items here so imagine my joy when i saw it at Alfatah ,Lahore . Hibiscus is a brightened, medium-dark red-coral with soft gold shimmer. It has a cremesheen finish.  It’s like a richer, deep version of Viva Glam Cyndi. 

Its a cremesheen finish. The Mac cremesheens are well creamy(duh!), shiny and pigmented . Hibiscus is a semi opaque orange red coral with extremely soft gold shimmer. Mac Cremesheen lipsticks are creamy and provides full-coverage  .The shade is perfect for summer. For reference i am MAC NC30-35. I love how mac lipstick smells. MAC lipsticks are vanilla scented but they are taste-free which i love.

The shade was so hard to capture on camera when on swatched or worn on lips.

If you have the can ,go to near mac counter and, give it a try i am sure you will love it as it is an amazing coral lipstick.

MAC Surf Baby! Collection Launch - Pakistan

MAC Surf Baby! Collection is a bright summery collection with island-themed packaging and colors.  In Pakistan we never get MAC L.E collections until now. I went to Al Fatah DHA few days ago and i almost died when i saw  some selected MAC wonder woman & MAC Surf Baby Collection items there. There were mostly bronzers, single eyeshadow, eyeshadow palettes, pigments , lip glosses ad lipsticks from MAC wonder woman & MAC Surf Baby Collection. On my first trip , i tried to look for Hibiscus lipstick but it wasn't available, no where to be found. So i bought a couple of things and walked out.I went next day to buy a blush and while the sales ma was making the receipt and i started looking at lipsticks and i heard angles singing because there it was , Hibiscus lipstick shinning like a star. Without thinking twice i bought it. 

There were all 4 MAC Surf Baby lipsticks available at the time i went.

Sadly there was no My Paradise Peach pressed powder with gold hibiscus flower overspray (Limited Edition) , which made me super sad , but i am glad that now Pakistani girls can enjoy MAC collections too.

All the mac cosmetics are authentic as they have macy's  return stickers on them.   I am happy , atleast we have something now, i know prices are but high but its better to pay few dollars more rather than wondering .sighing ad thinking where to buy mac cosmetics i Pakistan? right ?
