NYX Nude on Nude Palette - Review,Photos & Swatches

I bought this palette when it was launched at ulta.com . Ulta was having 40% off sale at selected brands and nyx cosmetics was included . I already have urban decay naked palette , but I didn't buy it because I wanted to compare . I personally love nyx eyeshadows , ESP their single eye shadows so I thought the discount was alone a great reason for me to grab nyx cosmetics nude on nude palette . 

NYX Nude on Nude set is a classy medley of 20 neutral eye shadows and 10 vibrant lip colors that work for every skin tone and every occasion. This makeup palette comes with a mirror and 2 applicators for your lips and eyes, making it perfectly portable.

Nyx nude on nude palette comes with 20 eye shadows and 10 lip colors . Most of the eyeshadow in this palette leans towards cool tones but all of them are pretty pigmented . They are a great mix of matte , satin and glitter . Some are better than the others . The matte ones were lityle chalky. The shadows in this palette aren't as finely milled as I usually prefer my nyx eyeshadows but for the price I paid or the regular price you can't complain . They last pretty good if wore alone but of course pairing up with a nice eyeshadow primer will even enhance the shadows and longitivtiy . They do have fall out , which bummed me out but I usually apply my foundation after I apply my eye makeup so this problem can be fixed but I was really disappointed . The eyeshadows have nice range of colors from pale white to deep black , shimmy beige to smoked brown . The lip products are your average kind, some of them are pretty pigmented but little sticky but they have nice range of pinks/coral/reds .

Do i recommend : Yes if you are looking for 20 eyeshadows ranging from pale white to deep browns and dont mind little chalky mattes , This is a nice budget palette . Try picking it up during sales like 20% off .  

Small Collective Haul [ OCT-NOV 2012 ]

I tried to behave this month and not buy as much as i usually do. So this is the collective haul for the month of October - November. These products were bought from two different places like target &  sephora

I have had Clarisonic mia in turquoise for a while now , but i didn't start using it on regular bases until last month. I was using the sensitive brush head which came with the clarisonic Mia skin cleansing system , but i thought of giving deep pore cleansing one a try so i got it from sephora. I was using Aveeno moisturizer with spf 30 , but i was running out so i grabbed yes to tomatoes , so far i like it.
 

So this is is my small collective haul . I haven't bought anything after these yet. But i will do collective hauls on wards rather than doing separate posts since i think i have started to buy less and less.

I've been noticing a lot of beautiful ladies nowadays. Most of them are simple but yet so fashionably elegant. So today, I decided to be a fashion authority and know the best dressed people that is trending. I am going to talk about the top 5 best dressed celebrities of 2012.

Please bear in my mind that i am not making any statement and i am not saying that these were the only best dressed ones , but according to my taste and my style i found them at absolute best.

Okay so many of you will be surprised to see this name but seriously I am on love with this women saris and I know that everyone admires her saris as much as I do . She is one of those women who can never go wrong with a sari . Now we see of her during award shows only but i still adore her and i think she will make it to the list all my life.

Okay so I won't be talking about her drama serials here but how elegantly dresses she was . I am fan of her attire , no matter what she wears, she carries it so beautifully . She looks equally gorgeous in western and earthen attire .

Duchess Kate was named best-dressed by Vanity Fair and i couldnt agree more. She has indeed made a clear statement by wearing designs ranging from Alexander McQueen and Alice Temperley to Zara and Topshop.

If i have to summon up her style in two words, fuss free yet stylish .I loved her patyalas in band bajaa barat and i am looking forward to check out her wardrobe in JTHJ . she always look so effortlessly styled yet gorgeous

MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation NC30 & NC40 Review

I bought MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 liquid foundation almost a year ago. Before I splurged on a mac liquid foundation , I googled endless reviews. I wanted 2 things in new foundation
1- long lasting
2- full coverage

Contains special skin-conditioning ingredients. Oil free.

And then I planned on getting the MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 . I am between Mac NC 35-40 . The Alafath store at DHA didn't have NC35 so I went with NC40. I also have NC30 , so I mix them both to my perfect shade I can wear both of the shades on their own as this foundation blends beautifully. What I love about this foundation is that its covers any imperfections beautifully and looks flawless . The formula is thin and liquidy and finish is semi matte dewy .I prefer using my fingers to apply it for medium coverage or sometimes f80 if i want fuller coverage but mostly fingers as the warmth of fingers make whole application easy and flawless . I never felt that my face looked cakey and it never felt heavy .i have combination skin , dry from cheek area and oily T zone . I never noticed any breakout. It lasts exceptionally long on me ,I love my Revlon color stay and I am happy to report that MAC Studio Fix Fluid didn't disappoint me ,its even better . I don't wear it on daily / regular bases . I think its best to be worn on night out pr desi weddings which could last whole night. When I'm attending a wedding I apply illamasqua Gleam cream in flex (Swatch here)
Only drawback is that end of day or during humid weather it tends to get greasy , but nothing major which blotting can't fix.

I just wish that foundation came with a pump, rather than having to pay extra to get one .But i read that new packaging is being phased out so there is a hope that MAC will introduce a pump with MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 .
