Monthly Favourites - June 2011( Better Late tha Never]

Its time to do June favorites , time is flying , Summer is on full bloom. Its the month of mangoes and watermelons .mm.Its been a while since i did monthly favorites post. I was traveling last two months. so i missed doing it.

 I have been doing a lot of EOTD lately , i have started loving using false eyelashes , i wasn't so fond of the white cast some of the eyelash glues left , so i picked up Kroxx Eyelash adhesive which is already in black color. Perfect.  I used Benefit crease less cream eyeshadow/liner in Recess alot to prime eyelids prior to any eye makeup. Bourjois volume clubbing mascara ultra black is hads down my HG mascara, I bought the maybelline colossal volume express mascara but i dont like it as much i do the volume clubbing though its a pain to take off. Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner the BEST gel liner EVER. 

• Ellis Faas Milky Lips L203 
• NYXMega Shine Lip Gloss in Natural  

I got this NYX Mega Shine Lipgloss in Natural when i ordered from porkdaisy a while back.  Its a one of those safe shades which will suit almost all skintones. Natural is one beautiful nude color. It looks stunning worn alone or over a lipstick. Ellis Faas Milky Lips L203 is a a deep reddish brown , complements my skintone quite well.

• Korres Zea Mays Powder Blush in Purple Brown[ Review ] 

The blush is so soft that when i tapped my brush instead of a swipe, it left the brush tips marks on the surface.

Last but not least face products.  The Korres Ginger and Vitamin foundation is a dewy, creamy, sheer , Perfect for summer days. I am in shade LF6

Beauty Uk shatter polish in Goth - NOTD

If you haven't already heard of the crackle/shatter nail polish trend, then you're living under the rock . I am starting to get really obsessed with nail polish and nail polish blogs.  Shatter Nail Polish is an amazing product built to give your nails a shatter look while combining with a base color for optimal appearance.

I have two of the Beauty Uk shatter polishes.

♥ Punk is a matte hot pink

♥ Goth is a matte black

The first shatter polish i tried was the Beauty Uk shatter polish in Goth.

BeautyUK Shatter Polish in Goth is a matte black.  I have applied it on Luscious's Nail lacquer in Diva and O.M.G doesnt it look stunning ? Best thing about Black shatter polish is that It looks great with brights, glitters, shimmers, and almost all sort of polishes as base. I used 2 coats of shatter polish , and it shattered with in few seconds.

Okay i am not sure if the formula has to be like this or mine was bit faulty but when i first opened/ tried it , and it was already goopy an thick, which made polish , hard to apply.But the formula of Punk shatter polish is perfect.

I tried co coordinating different base colors with the BeautyUK Shatter Polish in Goth. 

Polishes I used are :

Opi Glitzerland , Opi Strawberry Margarita , Illamasqua Gemma , Clarity Nail polish 341 and Sleek makeup Turquoise on thumb

I have used the Punk shatter polish over Goth shatter polish on middle finger.

Word of advise : This may be obvious that i am very impatient when it comes to let polishes dry , so you can see that i messed up a little bit so  be sure to only apply the Black Shatter top coat when your base is completely dry .

Vacations [FOTD & EOTD ]

Last two weeks have been so hectic, i have been traveling back and forth .  I had amazing time with my family and my sister;s family. She flew to London 2 days ago and finally i am back home. When i was in lahore, i had to attend a formal afternoon get to gether, I did this simple look which was loved and complemented by all .I didnt have time to take more pictures but i managed to take few before we left.

Since it was an afternoon lunch and it was really hot , i kept it simple with pretty neutral eyes, Coral lips and good pop of color on cheeks.
