Saturday's Mail: Coastal Scents / Orglamix Fig

Now i can relax, i have been waiting for this package for like a week or 10 days .. err it was shipped on january 25th. I am really thank full to my postman that this time he rang the bell and handed over the package instead of throwing it inside the gate as always. do you think the word FRAGILE on the package has to do something with this kind gesture?? 

Everything was wrapped in this very cute wrapping paper with red hearts( awww made me  soo mushy after all valentines is around the corner),It was carefully and nicely wrapped in bubble wrap.

Undercover HD Foundation ST-05 

okay now here i must say , it was the hardest thing to choose, as i have read soooo many good and bad reviews that i was confused , but after 4 days of hard work( i.e was to put in basket and then delete , then again put it back ) i decided to order it , now came the more HARDEST part : to choose shade, it took me another day to choose shade, i went through so many blog reviews and swatches and still couldn't make my mind, but reviews on coastal scents actually helped me when i read that ST-05 is match to MAC NC 30 , so i took the rick and ordered it.

I am glad to announce that color is perfect so far, i swtached it on back of my hand, so will review the foundation later. 

I took part in  wishfulnals Orglamix giveaway and won( so unlikely ) so i chose Fig , i got this eyeshadow in 5 days , cheri is so quick and loved the packaging , it came in black satin pouch.

Color is gorgeousss..PURPLEE.

Review:E.L.F Prime Plum Mineral Lipctick( not so plum)

I am not a brand slave when it comes to beauty esp makeup, there are so many brands to explore and try, I do believe in quality though so NO COMPROMISE on tis one. I got so many lipglosses and lipstick that its hard to tell which one is my favorite .. i heart all my lippies .
Okay so i am going to blog about eyes lips face lipstick in prime plum today.I love the formula and the consistency of E.l.f  Mineral lipstick line, it just glides on so smoothly on to the lips with its perfect color pay off. Also, it is long lasting

The packaging looks very professional, it's a sleek black, very sturdy with Elf's logo imprinted on the side. You might want to prime and moisturizer your lips first for more moisture.

Prime Plum ..Plum? More like brown..it is fairly dark and a little brown. It's a nice cool color I would wear under brighter glosses. The coverage is medium, heavier coverage with more layers to make it really dark. This one is very pigmented and very brown (YES!! brown Not Plum)

You can purchase it off ELF's site eyeslipsface for a barging price of £3.50 you can pay a lot more than that for a mineral lipstick.

Lovlies, if you ever get a chance to get your hands on one of these beauties, go and get them  the shades are beautiful and perfect for work, school, date, etc and they are super affordable cruelty free .

Sassy Minerals Eye Candy:Review

I decided to wait until I had time to swatch the colours before I wrote the review of my Sassy Minerals since i did my last post on sassy minerals package i got.

 You can read details here.

The sample sizes are very generous and come in a jar with no sifter. They were each sealed with a little plastic wrap and each has a sticker on the top with the color name and what it is like if they are liner,shimmer,blush etc, .my postman usually throws the packages inside the gate which worries me sometimes OH GOD please save my coastal scents HD foundation so packaging is extremely important to me when ordering internationally, Sassy minerals package showed how they took time in packaging, not fancy but practical.Loved it

The website is extremely easy to navigate and shows the last viewed colours which is really helpful if like me you.

 Each category has several finishes like in eyeshadow we get  Shimmery ,Deja Vu or Silk Luster, which is more of a muted almost matte finish.

Each color is photographed in a jar,but trust me they look better.. way better in real life, photographs didn't capture the real beauty on website.
Their prices seem really competitive, shadows are 4.25$ and samples are .75$ and come in a little sealed jar.
The samples came in little 3gram jars with the little domed false bottoms.

I'll definitely come back for more! Love the jars and great color choice, you can choose colors from everyday look to smoky and funky looks.I love the pigmentation and depth of these colors. You can build them as you desire.They look stunning on eyes.I am glad that fallout ratio wasn't a problem either although i faced some while using fierce, but all was gone after a sweep of brush

Gasoline Rainbow It is one of the best mineral liners I've tried because the color is gorgeous. It's a smooth black with rainbow sparkles, Breath taking sparkles..so pretty! you can read sirvinya's detailed review here

Galaxy : is Smooth black  , swathed dry , it looked dark charcoal grey but it looks beautiful and deep black once its used wet.

This is the only Dior lipstick I have and hopeful not the last one

It's fantastically pigmented and the gorgeous pink . I would say it is on the cooler side but it flatters my warmer colouring. It has a creamy texture but a sheen finish. It has a shine but no shimmers added. The texture is smooth, very moisturizing for my dry and often chapped lips.I love the texture and subtle shine of this lipstick. It is good for " naturally pigmented" lips and does not appear dry. 

The lipstick is extremely rich and creamy, and hydrating, and stayed on a decent amount of time.
I love this color and I love the feel of this lipstick! The color stays pretty well. But it feels so good on your lips that I don't mind reappling it when ever I feel the urge. The color is great! It is a "violet frosty"kinda pink.. Does it make any sense?? Bright rose/pink with a very slight violet undertone. I was scared that it might look too pink at first but it came out perfect. It's more of a rosy pink than a neon or hot pink. Gives me nice  frosty pink lips if applied one coat but after two more its sooooo pretty pink.

Scent reminds me of floral baby oil. I like it. it makes me happy

( wearing one coat of 365 on lips, i should try two or more )

Review Chanel Blush Jouse contraste TeaRose 56+ Giveaway 100 followers

 

I love Chanel blushes. Superb quality and color selection. 

So I finally laid my hands on these beautiful beauty Chanel powder blushes courtesy to my dad's frequent visits abroad :P

. I first fell in love with Chanel - Powder Blush - No. 56 Tea Rose on First sight. It's a pretty pink with a slight tint of peachiness  and with very subtle flecks of shimmer, it smells GORGEOUS.. Simply GORGEOUS.. Can I wear it as perfume.??? Silly me. It comes with a tiny soft brush , which I must say is too small for my big face. So I wod rather use it as an eyeshadow brush but as a blush brush !!??? Meh

While I like this blush a lot, I don't think I'd be buying this blush again as it takes 3-4 swipes for it to show on my NC25-30 skin. Don't get me wrong, I love it but it is way too sheer for medium dark skin tones like me, i use it as a highlighter sometimes.t is great as a highlighter because of the fine glimmery sheen. It is not very pigmented so I had to sweep quite a few times in order to get a decent coverage as you can see my swatch below, i achieved the color after good 5-7 good sweeps

Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2-in-1 wash mask Cleanser

What does it say:

Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2-in-1 Wash & Mask is a unique cleanser that can be used in two different ways to help keep skin looking clear and healthy - every day.

Use Neutrogena as a daily wash to cleanse away make-up, direct and excess oil and help prevent blemishes.

Use Neutrogena as a weekly mask to cleanse deep down into and pores and condition skin, leaving it soft, smooth and healthy-looking.

Directions:

As a daily wash: Squeeze a small amount into your palm and add water to work into a foamy lather. Massage into wet face, avoiding delicate eye area, then rinse with water. Suitable for everyday use.

As a weekly mask: Smooth a thin layer over face, avoiding delicate eye area. Leave for 5 minutes. Rinse well, removing any remaining traces with cotton wool.

Can you say smooth? Because that is sooo what this product does. i wanted to completely clear my spots which I get not so often now since I started to take care of it bit often now ( that includes , moisturizing,cleansing,using face mask once a week ) but I do get dry falky spot if I don't moisturize enough( oh how much I hate them as they always leave a scar which is sooo hard to get rid of )

So i'd been hearing good things about this product. when i first applied it, it felt a bit weird as a cleanser but it felt really refreshing on my skin. after a few days, my skin looked a little better but not huge amounts. i was starting to feel a bit disappointed but not anymore,i've been using like this for a while now, and my skin had totally changed for the better. nearly all my spots are gone,leaveing  my face feeling nice and soft.

I do like the packaging, bright but quite professional looking,I am such sucker when it comes to packaging.Good squeezy tube which allows you to control as much or as little as you need

So how do I use it??? ...!!First the mask , This mask is white with a clay consistency. i leave the mask on a little longer than 5 minutes, almost 7-8 mins  i use it twice a week ,because my skin feels soooo smooth after using it. if you have really oily skin, it would help that too but if your skin is a bit dry like mine then DO-NOT forget to use a good moisturizer afterwards if skin feels little tight.I have sensitive skin too and I've noticed no irritation ,after using it so which is definitely a plus.

Daily Wash. However, it does leave my skin very clean but a little bit dry. I think that if you have greasy skin this would be beneficial The cream is white with a light, pleasant fragrance and it goes on smoothly although it is also pretty difficult to wash off as a daily wash,Massage onto your face and simply rinse with water but always be careful not to get any into your eyes .YESl! its painful

I should warn you, it will give you tingling feeling to skin but I  like the feeling of this I love the feeling of plumping lip glosses too so i liked it.

Summary: A tingly, refreshing and delightful facial mask but not so keen about daily wash..meh
