Ipsy Glam Bag: October 2014

Monthly subscriptions are the rage these days everywhere, Chances are, you’ve heard of beauty subscription boxes by now. The concept is fairly new to Pakistanis since we don’t have any locally available option. The monthly subscription are affordable as they can cost you as low as low-cost at only $10/month but some are on expensive side with more high end variety of products .
How it works: Ipsy sends their subscribers four or five cosmetic, hair, and skincare products.  Each bag also includes exclusive coupon and discount codes for the products or companies featured in it, which is nice.  $10 a month for a rolling subscription, which can be canceled anytime, or $110 for a yearly commitment.

For me , this month was a total dud, i mean i was super excited for my October bag ,The theme was beauty candy and trust me,the product range was awesome and people were getting good sized items(i blame the spoilers) .Unfortunately i got the most disappointing ones among all of them.I don't usually like loose pigments/eyeshadows  or even cream products like lotions, cleanser etc, i hardly get to use them. I loved my last three months ipsy . This one didn't bring magic(ready beauty candy) to me.Themed as “Beauty Candy” it features products that smell like cake are shimmery and absolutely delish.REALLY? maybe my bag was an exception.

The perfect ponytail in vogue

THE Perfect Ponytail in Vogue

Who says that ponytails are only suitable when you’re working out or having a bad hair day? Hair pulled back in a classic ponytail never runs out of style – it’s the way that you wear it that really helps you make a statement. Romantic braids, boyish, side-parted locks or a sleek pulled-back look, a ponytail is an effortless way to style your hair for a formal party and even your workplace.
There's a ponytail style for everyone and it's important to play around until you find the look that suits you the best.  For those with wavy or curly textures, a low full pony looks great – for best results, run to the nearest supermarket and grab a Toni & Guy Glamour Serum Drops for Shine & Anti-Frizz, if you don’t wish to head out, check out Daraz.pk, Toni & Guy products are available on the online portal. The serum is a tried and tested classic – the frizz-ease serum is ideal for a smooth finish. For you to create a chic ponytail, you will need a good hair spray, never underestimate the power of hair spray when sporting a ponytail. Opt for a lighter-hold spray that you can work around, depending on the look you want.
You could always go for a loose braided ponytail, which looks best when your locks is freshly washed – the cleaner the hair, the better the braid. Curl your strands before braiding so you get a soft, romantic texture that works best with this look. Or you could try out a pulled back, bouncy ponytail – the way Lauren Conrad does it. To achieve natural waves in a ponytail, wrap big strands around a one-inch flat iron, for best results, spray Toni & Guy Prep Heat Protection Mist, before curling your hair. This look comes out best on unwashed hair, apply a small amount of Moroccan Oil, as well – whether you're trying for a smooth and sleek straight look or wish to enhance natural curls, this hair product gets the job done.

And then, of course, we have the sleek ponytail – a regular on the red carpet. It is the best hairstyle you can go for, especially when you want to flaunt your statement jewellery. Preferably, three days of unwashed hair is your best bet for this look or you could just use strong-hold gel to pull back them back. To even out the ends, use a flat iron and ensure the avoidance of unexpected frizz.
