Swatch Comparison - Drugstore BB creams ( Garnier , L'Oreal ,Maybelline )

What is BB cream after all  ? BB cream is the hottest beauty products in the world right now. BB cream serve as a makeup base, foundation, moisturizer and sun protections. Not only do they cover blemishes, they also have soothing, healing properties. Not all BB cream have all these functions,there are many types of BB cream some need to apply after moisturizer, some without the SPF or PA.
BB cream, also known as Blemish Balm or Blemish Base, is a cosmetic item initially sold in Korea,Japan and other far east countries . But now there are several BB Cream brands which are locally available like first we were introduced to Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream and now we have got quite few options to choose from.

BB creams usually came in "one" shade when they were introduced but now companies are coming out with different shades to suit everyone. I have three US Drugstores BB creams with me today to swatch .

From swatches you can see that maybelline one is darkest and Garnier is lightest, L'Oreal Youth Code BB Cream has a bit of more yellow to it. Coverage wise i havent tried L'Oreal or Maybelline BB cream but from swatches Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream look the sheerest of all.

L'Oreal Magic Lumi Primer - Review

Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer is a unique liquid light formula that blends seamlessly into skin to boost its liveliness and luminosity. Use it alone for a supple, dewy look, mix it with your foundation for an all over radiant finish or dab it on key areas as a highlighter

Overall opinion : I am obsessed with glowing skin these days. I find foundation on its own kind of missing the "omph' so when i saw the L'Oreal Magic Lumi Primer , i was so curious and i knew i gotta have it. I bought from Walmart . The packaging is cute and classy. The actual primer bottle might looks small for the price but trust me you only need a little. For me .only one pump is enough for my whole face. When first applied it does look way too shiny but once its under foundation/tinted moisturizer/powder , it settles down and gives skin a luminous finish. I usually mix it with my foundation. But on days i don't feel like wearing foundation, it will apply it all over and dust off a little powder and i am good to go. I am loving it because i think sometimes my skin tends to get dull.

Do i recommend :  L'Oreal Magic Lumi Primer has a pearly finish to it which gives your skin a dewy glow .It does give nice luminosity to skin when applied with the foundation,so if you are looking for glow and love highlighting , its worth checking out. If you have large pore , i will recommend trying L'oreal Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base instead .

Target once or twice a year offers a FREE beauty bag filled with samples and up to $25 in coupon savings! This offer is usually up for grabs on target website but last month , Target style Facebook page offered the summer beauty bag and i was lucky enough to grab one.
