Sleek Makeup Nude Collection - Photos, Swatches & Review

Transition your makeup into Autumn/Winter 2011 with Sleek MakeUP’s NUDE COLLECTION.

Sleek MakeUP’s NUDE COLLECTION resonates from the clean, fresh-faced beauty that reigns over the fashion industry, and no longer is this colour story all about beige. Sleek MakeUP’s new collection is a celebration of ethereal beauty, ranging from earthy browns, variations of tan, and pearly oysters. The dominant makeup trend emerging from the A/W ’11 shows is one of far fewer bold brights and many more neutral, taupe dustings of colour; now the focus is on perfect skin, natural shades of makeup, and a real sense of purity.

  • Sleek Makeup AU NATUREL I-DIVINE

The 12-piece AU NATUREL I-DIVINE (RRP: £6.49) gives you soft, subtle eyes with a palette of fawns and champagne, or a smoky, sultry look with rich dark browns, highly pigmented to suit all skin tones.

First of all dont mind the borken mirror , it came to me like this. I think i have some kind of jinx, atleast one item comes broken whenever i get sleek makeup products.
Like all Sleek makeup I divine eyeshadow palette  this one  comes in black compact. The compact is small and sturdy . It comes with a high quality big mirror , Perfect to bring with you on holiday or travel.

  • Nougat: is creamy white (Matte)
  • Nubuck : is a grey with lilac undertones. (Matt)
  • Cappuccino : is a beige biscuit shade.
  • Honeycomb : is a yellowish beige eyeshadow. (matte)
  • Taupe : is a champagne beige.( Shimmer)
(bottom row)
  • Conker : is a copper bronze (shimmer)
  • Moss : is a moss green shade (shimmer)
  • Bark :  is a dark taupe brown (matte)
  • Mineral Earth : is a chocolate brown (shimmer )
  • Regal : is a taupe brown with mauve undertones. (matte)
  • Noir :  is a Jet black (matte)

I have mixed feeling about Au Naturel I-Divine. It comes with 8matte shades and 4 shimmery ones . I am usually very impressed with Sleek makeup i divines, but to be honest i don't care for this one. The matte shadows in top row were bit of let down. Usually matte shadows are never as pigmented as shimmery ones but these one leans toward powdery. But i love the botton row,esp the shimmery ones like taupe, mineral earth are great.Even Bark and regal have good pigmentation.

Now some swatches , Below swatches are on back of my hand and without any primer.

  • Top row swatched with Artdeco eyeshadow primer ( bottom one is over the primer)

  • Sleek makeup SUEDE BLUSH & BARE MINIMUM POUT POLISH

Nail supermodel skin with the SUEDE BLUSH (RRP: £4.29) and create contours and highlights with a shroud of natural colour. Veils of nude on nude on the A/W 2011 runways of Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana, and Chloé championed a serenely smoky eye, contoured cheeks, and bare lips.Sensual and full nude lips have become a fashion institution, and they’re as big as ever this fall. Let the BARE MINIMUM POUT POLISH (RRP: £4.29) live up to its name and pair with dramatically dark eyes for an enticingly chic look. SleekMakeUP’s tinted lip conditioning balm is enriched with Jojoba, Avocado and Sweet Almond Oil as well as having SPF 15, giving you gorgeous conditioned lips that are protected from  harmful UV rays.

When i saw reviews online about the Sleekmakeup nude collection , i had a feeling that SuEde blush will be my least favorite products in this collection , But O'boy was i wrong. It is one of those shade which look boring in the pan but once applied it gives the beautiful barely there color. It is a  gorgeous gorgeous nude blush with a hint of peach. Which became my favourite at the first application. It looks stunning against tanned skin but i am not sure if women of color can pull this off, it may look little ashy .

Swatch Left two swipes and right blened

Like all Sleek Makeup Pout Polish is sweetly scented and comes with SPF15 . The Bare Minimum Pout Polish is a very lightly pigmented, and its perfect for a nude/neutral  lips. But its looks stunning over Sleekmakeup's pout paint in peachy keen which is a cool toned peach shade.

My cousin was visiting me few days ago and i did this look on her with sleek makeup products. I used Coastal Scents HD foundation all over her face. I primed her lids with artdeco eyeshadow primer and used Taupe all over her lids and brow bone hightlight, then mineral earth on the outer V of lid , taking and blending it in the crease. Used Noir to contour and blend little in the crease. Appled Suede blush on apple of her cheeks , blending towards temple a little , contoured and used Bare Minimum Pout Polish over sleek makeup's paint pout in peachy keen.
