I feel I have been reviewing matte foundation quite a bit lately. Few months ago I brought you Rimmel stay matte liquidmousse foundation Today I bring you Senna Lasting Illusion Foundation, which claims to be luxurious, long lasting fluid foundation and works beautifully for all ages and skin types.

I have shade “golden beige” which will be perfect for anyone between NC35-40.Senna Lasting Illusion Satin Matte Foundation comes only in 7 shades. I do wish there were more shades available but I certainly hope that senna adds more in the future.

The packaging is very unique and stands out in my foundation collection. It comes in a rounded glass bottle with a pump.The texture is light weight, creamier (almost like MAC studio fix fluid) and blends easily with fingers or any flattop kabuki foundation brush like sigma F80, Elf flat powder brush. The only thing I had issue with this is that it takes some time to blend perfectly. This foundation gives semi matte finish, which looks natural. I still use a bit of concealer for blemishes or dark spots, but I Love how it evens everything out.It doesn't look dry or cakey. The coverage is medium. Although I was expecting it to be more on the full coverage side .It looks smooth once applied and doesn't accentuate the dry patches.I have combination skin, I have oily T zone , and i don't need to apply powder afterwards but if you have very oily skin ,you may want to dust powder after the foundation application. It stays matte for 3-4 hours on me , and i did feel my face was getting shiny but a little dusting of face powder and i was looking same as before.

Bottomline: .Senna Lasting Illusion Satin Matte Foundation is definitely great for humid, hot summer days, perfect for every day, when you want to little bit of matte skin(not too matte) . The only thing I had issue with this is that it takes some time to blend perfectly. This foundation gives semi matte finish, which looks natural.
