Eye Makeup Tutorial feat. MAC Shadowy Lady Eyeshadow Quad

Shadowy Lady Eyeshadow Quad was a limited edition palette from MAC Cosmetics' "Cult of Cherry Collection."  I must say , no matter how much i love playing with makeup, eyeshadow are my least used item. I have so many palettes and i think its time , i start utilizing them. I love looking at pictorials and always wanted to do some of own . Today i was feeling little active and took some test shots and to my surprise they did turn out pretty well. So one thing lead to another and here i am.  Please keep in mind that I am not a professional makeup artist and have never gone through proper training. All my techniques and skills are self-taught and acquired through experience/blogs/you tube/magazines
So enough of jibbar jabbar and lets get started. 



The MAC Shadowy Lady Eyeshadow Quad has four eyeshadows

• Deep Truth  is a dark, shimmery navy blue. This is a permanent color.
• Lightfall is a soft, grayish-purple highlighter color.
• Shadowy Lady is a smoldering black-brown.
• Smudged Violet is an icy grayish-purple.

1- Apply a primer all over the lid as the base . I have used Smashbox photofinish lid primer
2- Apply Mac smudge violet eyeshadow on the lower lid with a flat eye shading brush (Brush used Coastal scents large chisel fluff brush)
3-Apply shadowy lady eyeshadow to the middle and outer portions of the lid with a pencil brush ( Brush used Mac 219)
 4-Darken crease with shadowy lady eyeshadow and blend with a tapered blending brush (Brush used Sigma E35 tapered blending brush)

  

5-Sweep Lightfall eyeshadow underneath the brow bone to highlight with a large brush and in the inner corners
6- Finish with Deep turth eyeshadow on lower lash line with a pencil brush ( I have used an angled brush)
7- Apply Maybelline colossal kajal on the waterline and using a smudge or pencil brush smudge it a little on the oute corner.
8-Line your upper lash line with the deep blue eyeliner , by sweeping it from the inner corner to outer corner with an eyeliner brush. (Brush used Coastal scents bend eyeliner brush).I have used physician formula eyeliner trio for blue eyes.

 

9- Curl your lashes & Apply essence multi action blackest black mascara on lashes.
10-Define brows using a  brow powder, I used sleek makeup brow kit in dark 

and TADA you are done.
