When it comes to mascaras , i am very hard to please. I have thin , sparse , barely there lashes so i need a heavy duty mascara like my HG Bourjois volume clubbing mascara to make me one happy gal. Rimmel Scandaleyes Lycra Flex Mascara comes in a chunky green tube ,The brush is massive, also a bit intimidating if you have hooded eyelids like because I always seem to smudge it on my upper lids. But the good news is, it is quite soft and manages to get to all of my lashes esp the bottom lashes. It gives almost feathery looking lashes. Since the brush is quite big, I recommend removing excess mascara off of the wand. I have this in black, which does a decent job and gives very black and feathery lashes. This mascara only takes about 2 coats to get how I wanted my lashes to look.  I can achieve the lengthening with just one coat, and with another coat, it thickens and lengthens little more. If you keep building up, then you can end up with spidery lashes and It does clump a little if you don’t let first coat to let dry completely. So if you are in hurry, you may want to be little careful. After two coats my lashes were still soft and i didn’t get the hard "crisp" feeling, you get with some mascara. It makes my nonexistent, thin lashes little dramatic Rimmel Scandaleyes Lycra Flex Mascara lasts until I take it off, it doesn't smudge or flakes.. The removal is easy as it comes off easily with regular makeup remover.

Overall I think it somewhat lives up to its claims, It has lasted all day without flaking and gives a decent curl with a big brush to coat each and every lash. It gives my short lashes the dramatic volume.
