Liz Earle Botanical Shine Shampoo and Conditioner- Review

I have been experimenting with my hair care products since so many years, I had really long hair ,when i say long , i mean Black, thick , naturally straight long hair , But as soon as i was in college i got them chopped i was so impressed with rani mukeerjee's hair style in kuch kuch hota hai, Not that they didnt suit me, i looked nice but i still regret getting them so short . Big mistake ! I was in living in my college dorm house, 10 hours drive away from my mom, so i didnt take care of them as much as i should had,i dyed them crazily , i got highlights, sometimes low lights, sometimes dyed them red, sometimes purple, i went crazy
Result : Thin , weak hair
I have now long hair, i guess they reach my waist, They are still shiny, silky and straight but not as thick as they used to be. I have has hair fall problem last year so i am very carefull with my hair products now. meaning no straighteners , no harsh chemicals and no more experimenting.

I was really excited when i got  Liz Earle Botanical Shine Shampoo  and Botanical Shine Conditionerfor dry or damaged hair   in mail a month ago.

If you read a lot of beauty blogs, you'll have probably have read reviews on the new Liz Earle Botanical Shine shampoo and conditioners. As most of you know I am a fan of Liz Earle skin care range so was very excited to try her new haircare range.

So shall we start with the review?

First the Packaging - Liz Earle hair care range comes in big squeeze-y  tubes , which contain (200ml of product in each) . These tubes are easy to user when you are taking a shower or bath ,  and the amount of product which comes from the tube is appropriate, but as i have bit long hair so i have to squeeze at least twice to get desired amount.

Both of these products have very unique and beautiful smell, & I do love the scent
The smell can be described as authentically herbal, The shampoo has bit more of smell then  the conditioner , it has refreshing scent of Orange Citrus. if i have to describe the smell in one word, it is : comforting

now the texture , the shampoo has a clear gel  consistency , which lathers well keeping in mind that it is SLS/SLES-free / silicone-free . and conditioner is more like a thick cream.

Final say : I have to admit that i love Botanical Shine Conditionerfor dry or damaged hair more than the shampoo, i feel that shampoo used alone made my hair bit dry , and but when these two are used together , than this gives the most perfect shiny , straight dangle free hair ever + smell great together. They give my hair a fresh smell, leaves my hair clean, soft, shiny. The range has one shampoo that should suit everyone and then three conditioners, for Normal, dry and oily hair.I am impressed with the amount of lather considering it is SLS and SLES free product.
So i would  for sure recommend the duo , yes duo. Because i would re purchase the duo if possible.

Liz Earle Botanical Shine Shampoo costs a surprisingly reasonable £7.50 for 200ml, from the Liz Earle online shop or other stockists.

Will you be trying the Liz Earle haircare range?
