The packaging of the blushes are similar to that of NARS blushes.Mellow Mauve blush is a mauve with brown undertones, not really true to name. The colour is a cool toned berry colour.
The color payoff isn't bad, but it's not overly pigmented. In fact i was bit disappointed when i swatched this blush , i had high hopes for this product. Mellow Mauve also looks pretty in the pan but when swatched, brush barely picks up any color.
Below swatches are good 3 swipes , you can get the idea what i am talking about regarding pigmentation
Maybe i will use some othet brush. I was using elf lush brush before I need a couple of strokes on my brush before getting any color payoff.
This is the only con i have for this product.Maybe it could a pro for some who prefers a sheer blush.
What i liked in ELF blushes is that how subtle the shimmers are in them.Texture wise , ELF blushes have a silky smooth feel and blend easily onto skin.
ELF blushes are affordable and Anyone looking for a nice, subtle blush , this would be a great addition to your collection.

Candid Coral and Mellow Mauves are my 2 favorite blushes from the studio line! :) Maybe try applying it with something like the MAC 109 that picks up a lot of product? :)
