Shanghai, also known as Hu, is one of China’s most popular cities for a vacation. It’s on the estuary of Yangtze River, so you know that you’re close to the river if you fancy a night river cruise tour.  The Bund is a waterfront promenade that has become very popular with tourists. From this attractive position, you can look back at the Pudong district. It’s from this vantage point that you can really appreciate how futuristic the buildings and the skyline really looks. For a more traditional view, head to the Yu gardens in central Shanghai. You can see a beautiful pavilion and well-tended gardens. The ponds are particularly delightful.
